8th Hole Stroke index 2 Par 4The 8th hole measures 412 yards from the white tees, 405 yards from the yellow tees and 359 yards from the red tees. The 8th is a tough hole, usually plays into the wind with lots of trouble to the right of the fairway. The bunker 147 yards from the tee just off the fairway to the right catches out a lot of the bigger hitters. For the mere mortals, like me, the bunker 190 yards from the green on the left of the fairway can also kill any chance of reaching in the green in two shots. The trees on the edge of the fairway on the right hand side also block out many a good drive so try to keep your tee shot in the center of the fairway or on the left hand side. The green slopes front to back and is protected by three bunkers, one large bunker on the left of the green and two smaller bunkers to the right. The eighth is also a tricky green to putt on. There are a lot of subtle borrows which you might not notice if you aren't careful. Previous | Home
